lebron and kobe are two of vitaminwater’s most valuable assets. as the great debate was heating up between loyal fans, we were able to create a platform to execute and enable this debate, throughout the nba finals. the great debate led consumers to vitaminwater’s facebook page, a branded platform on which fans could join the debate and interact with each other. the campaign elicited over 20,000 votes, helped to grow vitaminwater’s facebook audience to close to a million fans, and earned an inaugural facebook blue ribbon award. a strategic regional outdoor presence supported the great debate print and online campaign [outside the cav’s arena in cleveland and on the 405 in LA]. lebron’s banner was hung before he was named mvp, so that the unveiling could coincide with the announcement.
